ENCHANTMENT

Out into the fog
with those questions
tinged with curiosity
and a promise of hope

A ray of warm sun
or a wiff of cold wind
will give me what I want
let the seconds pass

and then
far away
the faint wisper of shattered water droplets
and the music of a tugged string

The questions forgotten
and sensations lost and found
I follow those rhythms

and even in the fog
the clarity cannot be mistaken
looking at me
are your crystal eyes

Breaking

Round and round
goes the written
like a circle
all around

Where am I
there again
gone again
yet I remain
where I am

With the wind so soft
and the pale moonlight

I try to read your message
Oh lovely night

I see in you the promise
of a new beginning

I see in you the darkness
before new light

Trikling away

Down you fall
tickling the leaves
making them dance
indenting my skin

O drops of rain
you touch the leaves
you wet my skin
and fall away

you fall towards
the lonely soil
all the way

Oh we know
you are only his
yet

to savor you
for those brief moments

we block your way

Beyond

Surrounded by mist
hear I stand
my lonely soul
traveled long and returned
I have no place to go

I wave my hand
fumble, struggle to clear my way
but alas
It comes back

My body is cold
my drained wet eyes
seen far but still no further
I have no place to go

I move my feet
walk, run to come out but alas
I am still here

Shivering I stand
my quenched dry mouth
cried loud but now silent
I have no place to go

surrounded by miost
here I stand

Something untold something unfinished

On the mountain top
My hands outstretched
I take my plunge

Cradled by the clouds
and then into space
I fall

The air is cold
and the ground nearing
gaining momentum every second
I am falling

I wait for the angel
I wait for my savior
but the ground is nearing
I am falling,
I am falling

THE WISP

I thought I had
thrown away those burnt remains

But somewhere they remained
some unnoticed some hidden

Taking a new form
evolving each minute into something new
something worse something better

Burn them I must
but the ash will still remain
for now I let them rest
until they transform , grow, and
recast their spell
